The Sea of the monsters is the second book the Percy Jackson saga. In the first book, Percy wanted to found who was the lighting thief, and he discovered that was Luke the son of Hermes. In this book, Luke is also the antagonist but this time he was not searching for a lightning, he was poisoning Thalia's tree that protected all of a town where the son of the Gods live from the monsters. So this time Percy, his friend Annabeth, and his cyclop "brother" Tyson are searching for his also friend Grover who is trapped with a giant that have the only thing that can save Thalia's tree and is called Golden Fleece. So this is a story were there are many problems were is dangerous to have faith in someone. At the end of the story something surprising happens.
I will recommend this book to people that read the first book because the both books connect really well with each other. I will also recommend it to people that like suspense and mysterious books were you need to find who is the real betrayer. Or if you haven't read any of these books and if you like Greek mythology you will enjoy this saga.
