The book that I have read in the summer is The Circuit. This book is about a family that lives in Mexico and passed "La Frontera" leaving behind poverty and searching a better job. It take place in many parts of United States but mostly in cotton fields were they worked. The main characters were Francisco, Roberto that was his old brother, his parents and the antagonist in the story was poverty because they always worked for gaining money and even Roberto had to work. Poverty is one of the main conflicts that they had but they also were in trouble to have a job or working really much to gain money.
I liked this story for many reasons, I like how the author expressed throughout the novel and all the feelings that had the story. I liked the theme of the book and how the story was always in conflicts so you need to pay much attention to it. About the writing of the story, I liked how the story always flew and how the author expressed what he felt. I will recommend this book to Mexicans because they always think that in United States are more opportunities but some times not and I will also recommend this book for someone who don't works hard because this book demonstrate a big example or people that works very hard each day.
